Our research aims to gain a better understanding of the pathophysiology of Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD), particularly the interactions between the intestinal barrier, the immune system, the microbiota and environmental factors.

My PhD research focuses on the development of an in vitro model of the human intestinal barrier for use in the study of chronic inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). Ultimately, this model is intended to contribute to the development of personalised medicine approaches for patients with IBD.
I also contribute to the M1 Master’s programme in Therapeutic and Diagnostic Innovations at the University of Lorraine, as part of an optional module on in vitro intestinal models.
