My PhD investigates the role of glial lipid homeostasis in Alzheimer’s disease, with a particular focus on the LSR (Lipolysis Stimulated Lipoprotein Receptor) and its involvement in ApoE regulation.
I am specifically interested in the crosstalk between astrocytes and microglia, whose disruption contributes to neurodegenerative processes. My work relies on cell lines and primary glial cultures, as well as a CRISPR-Cas9 knockout model for the LSR receptor, and aims to:
Characterize the molecular mechanisms by which LSR regulates glial lipid homeostasis and modulates the neuroinflammatory response;
Identify and screen molecules capable of modulating the LSR/ApoE pathway from a therapeutic perspective.
3rd-year PhD student at the NGERE unit (Inserm), working on the modulation of glial response in Alzheimer’s disease via ApoE regulation, with a focus on astrocyte/microglia crosstalk and the role of the LSR receptor in glial lipid homeostasis.
Teaching: DCCE, 48h/year.
Collective responsibilities: member of the BioSE Doctoral School board; former president of the AD’UL Team association.
Third-year PhD candidate (NGERE Unit, Inserm), specialized in neuro-immunology and cell biology. Master’s in Biotechnology (2nd/18). Experience in university teaching (DCCE), scientific communication, and collective engagement within the doctoral school.
