🧬35th Clinical Genetics Seminar in Nancy: Programme and Call for Abstracts

The 35th Clinical Genetics Seminar will take place on 4 and 5 February 2027 at the Jean Prouvé Convention Centre in Nancy.

Over two days, clinicians, researchers and genetics professionals will come together for a programme dedicated to advances in clinical genetics and their applications. Several major topics will be covered during this edition: genomics and biomarkers, neurogenetics, endocrinology, environment and metabolism, as well as bioinformatics tools supporting clinical genetics practice.

Several NGERE members will contribute to the seminar: Mathilde Renaud, Catherine Malaplate, Chloé Morel, François Feillet, Emeline Renard, Simon Verdez, Tom Alix and Jean-Marie Ravel.

📣 Call for Abstracts – until 6 October 2026

A call for abstracts, coordinated by the SIGF, is currently open. Selected submissions will be presented as 5-minute oral presentations during the seminar.

A total of 12 abstracts will be selected, divided into two sessions: 6 presentations for the “Open Topic” session on Thursday, 4 February and 6 presentations for the “Challenges of reinterpretation: current status and selected clinical cases” session on Friday, 5 February.

Abstracts must be written in French and should not exceed 300 words or 2,175 characters, excluding the title and authors. For studies or research projects, the required structure is Introduction – Objectives – Methods – Results – Discussion – Conclusion; for clinical cases: Introduction – Case report(s) – Discussion – Conclusion. Submissions must also specify the main topic, three keywords and any funding associated with the work.
