Study of the gut microbiota–gut–brain dialogue in an animal model of fetal programming induced by methyl donor deficiency, leading to psychiatric disorders.
As a Associate Professor in Neuroscience, I pursue my research on the microbiota–gut–brain axis by supervising students undertaking internships and PhD thesis. I am an elected full member of College B, representing “researchers and academic staff,” on the Laboratory Council, where I contribute to the Unit’s scientific and budgetary policy. I teach animal physiology and neuroscience in the Faculty of Science and Technology. I am also Head of the third-year Bachelor’s degree programme in Cellular Biology and Animal Physiology (BCPA). In addition, I am a full member of the Lorraine Ethics Committee for Animal Experimentation (CELMEA), where I contribute to the assessment of applications for authorization of animal experimentation projects.
