🍽️ Looking Back at the 3rd Edition of the Hungry Games: The Lab Comes to the Table!

Scientific questions, tastings, puzzles, and discussions with members of the laboratory kept participants engaged throughout the afternoon. The objective remains the same as it has been since the Hungry Games were first launched in 2023: to communicate science in a different way, by offering students and staff across the campus a fun and accessible approach to understanding the links between food, nutrition, and health.

Participants also had the opportunity to discover the research projects carried out within NGERE, meet and interact with our PhD students, researchers, and staff members and, of course, try their luck at winning a few prizes! 🎁

A Collective Adventure 💙

This third edition would not have been possible without the dedication and enthusiasm of the laboratory’s members. A huge thank you to everyone involved in the organisation: preparing the questions and activities, setting up the event, welcoming and supporting the teams, presenting research projects, and much more. It was a wonderful collective effort to promote science communication within NGERE!
